Comprising of both full sized houses and some smaller studios, the Maisons are run able to cater for groups of 2-8 people. They are situted in a lower part of Uçhisar, but stil provide wonderful views of the Cappadocian landscape, and Uçhisar village
Each separate part has its own garden, and courtyard with plenty of greenery and colour. Carved completely in stone, the houses consist of bedrooms, living and dinsng areas, and of course, kitchen. The lower rooms are very large, and all rooms are beautifully decoratd with loovely wooden furniture and traditional artefacts and carpets. There is plenty of fabulous colours throughout, and the outer entrances are very attractive.
The French owner of the Maisons originally visited Cappadocia as a tourist, and loved these houses so much he took them on. He is himself an architect, and there are currently more houses being restored for use.
