Arrival at Trabzon Airport and meeting with your guide.
We begin our journey with a visit to the legendary Sumela Monastery, dramatically built into a cliff face within Altindere National Park. Dating back to the 4th century, this Orthodox monastery is surrounded by dense forests and waterfalls.
After free time for photos and exploration, we drive through the spectacular Zigana Mountain Pass, offering panoramic views of traditional villages scattered across the Pontic Mountains.
Our next stop is Karaca Cave, renowned for its colorful stalactites, stalagmites, and unique rock formations — considered one of the most beautiful caves in Turkey.
After the tour, transfer to your hotel.

After breakfast, we explore Trabzon’s cultural landmarks:

Sera Lake – A peaceful natural lake near the city
Lunch is served in Akçaabat, where you’ll taste the region’s famous Akçaabat meatballs.
In the afternoon, we drive to Uzungöl (Long Lake), a hidden paradise nestled in the Pontic Alps. Enjoy a scenic walk around the lake, surrounded by misty mountains and wooden houses.

After breakfast, we depart Uzungöl and head towards Rize, the heart of Turkey’s tea production. Enjoy a panoramic view from the Botanical Garden, overlooking the city and coastline.
Continuing through the lush Fırtına (Storm) Valley, we visit:

We take a light hike to Goksu Waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the region.

Around noon, we drive east along the Black Sea coast to the Turkish–Georgian border. From Sarpi Border Gate, enjoy views into Georgia before returning west along the scenic coastline.
