Tour Style:Group Departure Everyday
Day 1: Pamukkale and Hierapolis Tour We’ll pick you up from Izmir hotels, Izmir Port or Izmir Bus Terminal around 7:00 am and take you to Pamukkale. Your professional tour guide will greet you to start your full-day tour of the area. The journey time is nearly 3.5 hours, depending on traffic conditions. You’ll have lunch in a local restaurant with our tour guide. After lunch, you will visit the ancient city of Hierapolis. This incredible city was once a thriving center of culture and trade. Today, it’s a UNESCO World Heritage site that’s known for its magnificent theatre, baths and cathedral. You’ll have plenty of time to explore all of these amazing sites. Then, you’ll stroll along the cotton-white terraces of Pamukkale. These natural wonders are truly a sight to behold. You’ll have plenty of time to relax and take in the beauty of this unique place. At the end of the tour around approximately 4:00 pm, after the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel in Pamukkale for check-in.

Day 2: Fly to Kayseri from Denizli After breakfast, check out of the hotel in Pamukkale. You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Denizli airport to take your flight to Kayseri through Istanbul. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Cappadocia. The rest of the day is free after you check into your hotel in Cappadocia.
Overnight in Cappadocia Included Meal(s): Breakfast Accommodation: Dedeli Konak Cave Hotel or similar (Standard quality) Day 3: North Cappadocia Tour After breakfast around 9:30 am you will be picked up from your hotel to join the full-day tour of North Cappadocia. Your tour will start with a visit to the Devrent Valley to see the unique fairy chimneys. Next, you will visit the Pasabag Valley (Monks Valley) to see the mushroom-shaped pinnacles. After this visit, you will drive to the city of Avanos. After lunch, you will visit the beautiful open-air museum of Goreme where the remains of rock-cut churches and Christian settlements date back hundreds of years. Finally towards the end of the day tour before returning to your hotel, you will be able to visit the natural castles of Uchisar. After the trip is completed, we will transfer you back to your hotel.

Day 3: South Cappadocia Tour After breakfast at the hotel around 9:30 am you will be picked up and met by your tour guide to begin your full-day tour of South Cappadocia. Your tour guide will brief you on the day’s activities. Your tour will begin with a visit to the Red Valley where you will be able to explore the famous rock-cut churches and hike approximately 5 km through the Rose Valley (Gulludere Vadisi). Next, you will visit Cavusin Village which is famous for its houses and churches of Christian Clergymen. We will take a break for lunch around noon. After lunch, you will drive to the Pigeon Valley (Guvercinlik Vadisi). In the afternoon you will visit the Kaymakli Underground City or Ozkonak Underground City where early Christians lived. Tour will end at approximately 4:00 pm.

Onyx and semi-precious stones: In Turkey, Cappadocia has the onyx mines where the highest quality onyx is found. Local artisans are experts at making items of jewellery made with precious and semi-precious stones, silver, and 22 and 24 carat gold. Leather goods: Turkey is one of the world’s leading producers and exporters of leather goods. You can find a wide range of quality leather goods in Uchisar, Cappadocia. Spices: Istanbul Spice Market, once the largest spice trading venue of the medieval world, with its abundant stalls still featuring piles of edible exotics is a definite highlight for anyone exploring Istanbul.
