DETAILED TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1 | Arrival in Rize – Karagöl – Macahel – Maral Waterfall

Arrival in Rize Airport, where you are warmly welcomed by your professional guide. We begin our scenic drive into the lush highlands of Artvin.

Our first stop is Karagöl, a serene mountain lake surrounded by dense forests. We continue to the legendary Macahel Valley, recognized by UNESCO as a Biosphere Reserve, home to endemic flora, untouched nature, and traditional wooden houses.

The day concludes with a visit to the spectacular Maral Waterfall, cascading from nearly 60 meters and offering unforgettable photo opportunities.

DAY 2 | Gorgit Plateau – Tamara Bridge – İremit Village Walk

After breakfast, we head towards the high plateaus of Gorgit Yaylası, where panoramic views stretch endlessly across the mountains.

We visit the historic Tamara Bridge, an elegant medieval structure reflecting Georgian architectural heritage. Later, we enjoy a guided nature walk from Kayalar Village to İremit Village, passing through forests, streams, and traditional settlements.

Our cultural exploration continues with a visit to the charming İremit Mosque, harmoniously blending into the natural landscape.

DAY 3 | Naçadirev Lake – Lekoban Plateau – Şavşat

Today we discover the tranquil beauty of Naçadirev Lake, followed by breathtaking views from Lekoban Plateau, one of the region’s most pristine highland areas.

In the afternoon, we arrive in Şavşat, officially titled Cittaslow, a town celebrated for its sustainable lifestyle, peaceful atmosphere, and deep connection with nature.

Free time to explore local streets and enjoy the calm rhythm of highland life.

DAY 4 | Tibetan Church – Şirata Lake – Balıklı Lake – Sahara National Park

A day filled with natural and historical treasures. We visit the mysterious Tibetan Church, followed by stops at Şirata Lake and Balıklı Lake, both known for their crystal-clear waters and tranquil surroundings.

We continue to Sahara National Park and Şavşat Karagöl, one of Turkey’s most picturesque alpine lakes, surrounded by dense pine forests. The day ends with a visit to unique fairy chimney formations, a rare geological phenomenon in the Black Sea region.

DAY 5 | Tamara Rooms – Suatılan Waterfall

After breakfast, we explore the historic Tamara Rooms, carved into rocky terrain and once used as shelters and storage spaces.

We then hike gently through nature to Suatılan Waterfall, hidden deep within lush greenery—a perfect spot for relaxation and photography.

In the evening, enjoy a special cultural night with traditional Horon folk dances and live local music, creating a joyful and authentic Black Sea atmosphere.

DAY 6 | Yukarı Koyunlu – Rutav Lake – Return to Rize

Our final day begins with visits to Yukarı Koyunlu Village and the peaceful Rutav Lake, surrounded by untouched landscapes.

After lunch and scenic stops “somewhere in between,” we drive back to Rize Airport.

Tour ends around 18:00 at Rize Airport.
