Itinerary (4 Days / 3 Nights)

Day 1: Arrival in Istanbul & Ottoman Grandeur

• Morning/Afternoon: Arrive at Istanbul Airport (IST or SAW). Meet your professional driver for a seamless private transfer to your 4-star boutique hotel in the Sultanahmet or historical area.

• Afternoon: Check-in and relax.

• Late Afternoon: Begin your historical exploration. Visit the Blue Mosque (Sultanahmet Camii), renowned for its six minarets and stunning blue İznik tiles.

• Evening: Enjoy a welcome dinner (optional) and explore the charming atmosphere of the Old City.

Day 2: Byzantine Legacy & Spice of the Orient

• Morning: After breakfast, meet your guide and dive into history. Explore the Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque (Ayasofya-i Kebir Cami-i Şerifi), a masterpiece of Byzantine architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to the Topkapi Palace Museum, the seat of the Ottoman Sultans for nearly 400 years, including the famed Harem section.

• Lunch: (Optional) Try authentic Turkish cuisine near the Hippodrome.

• Afternoon: Wander through the atmospheric Grand Bazaar, one of the world’s oldest and largest covered markets. Next, immerse yourself in the intoxicating aromas of the Spice Bazaar (Egyptian Bazaar).

• Evening: Free time for dinner or an optional Bosphorus Sunset Cruise.

Day 3: Mysticism Awaits: Fly to Konya & Rumi’s Shrine

• Morning: Enjoy breakfast, followed by a private transfer to Istanbul Airport for your domestic flight to Konya.

• Late Morning: Arrive in Konya and be greeted by your local guide/driver for a transfer to your hotel.

• Afternoon: The Heart of Sufism. Begin your spiritual tour in the city of Mevlana Rumi. Visit the world-famous Mevlana Museum, the former lodge of the whirling dervishes and the mausoleum of the great poet and philosopher Rumi.

• Late Afternoon: Explore the Sema Ceremony Hall, and the beautiful Alaaddin Hill, home to the historic Alaaddin Mosque.

• Evening: Experience the serene and authentic atmosphere of Konya.

Day 4: Konya History & Farewell

• Morning: After breakfast, visit the Karatai Medrese (a former theological school with exquisite Seljuk tiles) and the Ince Minare Medrese (Slender Minaret Museum).

• Late Morning: Depending on your international flight schedule, you will be transferred to Konya Airport for your included domestic flight back to Istanbul (or an alternate airport for your departure).

• Departure: Arrive in Istanbul and connect with your international flight home, enriched by the spirit of Rumi and the history of Sultans. (B)
