DETAILED TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1 | Rize Airport – Koç Düzü Plateau – Didingola Plateau

We meet at Rize Airport at 10:00 AM and begin our journey toward the heart of the Altıparmak Mountains.

Maselevat Valley & Koç Düzü Plateau

Our scenic ascent through Maselevat Valley takes approximately 3 hours, with frequent photo stops along the way.
At Koç Düzü Plateau (2,400 m), we begin our first gentle hike to Cennet–Cehennem Hill—a short 15-minute climb rewarded with sweeping views of:

• Koç Düzü Plateau

• Maselevat Valley

• Adalı Lake

After lunch on the plateau, a relaxed 15-minute walk brings us to Didingola Plateau, the largest and most authentic plateau in the region.

Didingola means “Big Plateau” in the Laz language (Didi = Big, Gola = Plateau).

We settle into our mountain lodge and spend the afternoon exploring, photographing, and meeting local highlanders.

DAY 2 | Lelvan Ridge – Lelvan Lake

Today we hike along the scenic Lelvan Ridge, a route known for its open views and peaceful atmosphere.

Our walk leads us to Lelvan Lake, hidden among rolling meadows and mountain silhouettes.
Along the way, we encounter grazing animals, seasonal shepherd shelters, and endless greenery.

Afternoon is free for rest, photography, and conversations with locals.

DAY 3 | Nekna (Gate) Lake

We continue our exploration with a walk to Nekna Lake, also known as Gate Lake, a tranquil high-altitude lake surrounded by untouched landscapes.

This day emphasizes slow hiking, nature observation, and silence, making it one of the most calming experiences of the tour.

DAY 4 | Balıklı Lake – Kaçkar Lake – Çatalkaya

A full nature day featuring three iconic landmarks:

• Balıklı Lake, famous for its crystal-clear waters

• Kaçkar Lake, set beneath dramatic mountain peaks

• Çatalkaya, offering panoramic views of the Altıparmak range

Each stop includes easy walks and extended photo breaks.

DAY 5 | Mollaveyis – Çinçiva Village Hike

We descend toward traditional villages and begin the Mollaveyis–Çinçiva Village hike, passing:

• Stone houses

• Wooden bridges

• Lush valleys

This route reveals the human side of the Black Sea, where architecture, agriculture, and daily life blend seamlessly with nature.

DAY 6 | Kaçkar Lake – Balıklı Lake – Altıparmak Mountain – Avusor & Ayder Plateaus

A diverse and scenic day combining highlands and famous plateaus:

• Views of Altıparmak Mountain

• Visit to Avusor Plateau, a quiet alpine settlement

• Time in Ayder Plateau, known for its cultural atmosphere

DAY 7 | Mollaveyis – Çinçiva – Ortan – Makrevis Villages – Return

Our final day features village-to-village walks:

• Mollaveyis – Çinçiva route with historic mansions

• Ortan – Makrevis walk through rural landscapes

After lunch, we transfer back to Rize Airport for our return journey.
