Pazar Hemşin Valley & Akyamaç Waterfall

We travel into the lush Pazar Hemşin Valley, once an important historic trade route connecting Maiden’s Castle, Ciha Castle, Zil Castle, and Kale-i Bala.

Our first stop is the iconic Four-Arched Stone Bridge, the largest and only bridge of its kind in the Black Sea region—perfect for photography.

We then reach Akyamaç Nature Park, where a short forest walk leads us to the 13-meter-high Akyamaç Waterfall, surrounded by dense greenery and birdsong. After photos and a tea break, we continue uphill.

After a scenic drive, we arrive at legendary Gito Plateau, immortalized in local folk songs.
From here, enjoy panoramic views over:

  • Fırtına Valley

  • Pokut Plateau

  • Georgian Mountains (weather permitting)

Lunch is served with breathtaking views. Later, we ascend Gito Hill for a 360-degree panorama, where on clear days you can even see the Black Sea.

A gentle downhill walk returns us to the plateau before a short stop at Badara Hamlet, famous for its charming pond and postcard-perfect scenery.
